Dolce&Gabbana Eau De Toilette Light Blue Capri In Love 50 Ml

I tested Capri in Love first only on strip before getting a full decant and to be honest it impressed me more on strip. Masculine woody/peppery opening let me to believe this was going to be a bit of a departure from the citrus freshness of the other Light Blue Eau de Toilette flankers. Though the opening is nice, it settles quickly into a cheaply-scented fruity sunscreen. It doesn't even last long. It's such a shame that Capri in Love and Light Blue pour Homme Summer Vibes have such beautiful bottles with such average juice inside.

Nothing quite lives up to the original D&G Light Blue for women, but this flanker gives it a good run for its money. According to Fragrantica there are only 3 notes, but it smells more complex than that. The original DNA is clearly present, but this one is perhaps more creamy and citrusy. It lasts about 3-4 hours and projects enough that I can smell it wafting around me when I turn my head. Expensive so maybe wait for a sale, but well worth having as a blind buy if you've liked the previous Light Blue flankers.
