Cerrutti perfume 1881 Riviera EDT 100 ml

Very floral, fresh, clean, but also grown-up with a touch of elegance and blue maritime nuances. Quite unique, it feels high-quality. The focus here is on floral notes. More of a summer scent that fits perfectly at the coast, but rather when driving through the mountains than directly at the beach. When you smell it up close, it is initially a bit of an acquired taste, but after about 10 minutes, you are surrounded by a clean, fresh, and unique aura that definitely has something special and doesn’t remind you of the typical 08/15 scents. I think it's great. Still, not a blind buy; it could be a bit unsettling for beginners or younger individuals.

1881 Riviera gives me an odd kind of blueberry yoghurt scent with an earthy mustiness underneath, the latter of which is more evident as it dries down. I sort of like it, but can't really get excited about it, and after a few years of owning it, decided to gift it away. Great sprayer. Below average performance on my skin.

Cerruti Riviera is an awesome scent, a different kind of freshy. I get great longevity. I highly recommend it, very pleased.

I was expecting to see opoponax in the list of ingredients although it isn't very strong. Instead it's the jasmine and bergamot that present a rapeseed flower scent that might initially be off-putting to some. I wish there was more of the original in this but sadly there isn't. So why the thumbs up? Well because it smells different, and perhaps signature scent worthy for some. There is a vintage Eternity vibe going on that's not half bad.
