Asics Tênis Gel-venture 6

Bought for work where I stand and walk a lot in a sometimes slick environment. Nice in between between non-slip shoes and regular sneakers. The tread hasn’t worn down and I’ve had my pair at least 9 months. Got some N*ke’s in March and the soles are already worn down. So I’m getting another pair of these for work!

I only wear Asics athletic shoes - love how they fit my feet. So if I'm in an athletic shoe this brand is my go to. I love this shoe, but the back is a little stiff and irritates my Achilles. I will work on breaking these in more because I really like the shoe. I just may have to wear them not as often as I had hoped to.

I love Asics, but the back heel portion of this pair hit higher than i am used to -- the ankle bone. Will try to find another :)

Venture 6 has been my favorite running shoe for many years. I'm 64, and this shoe suits me perfectly for its rear cushioning and stability. I just bought four pairs of these because it appears Asics is no longer making them. My big toe tends to wear through shoes, so I really like this newer design as well.
