Seagate Hdd Ironwolf 8tb 3.5´´

Bought to replace 2x 1TB drives in an Unraid array. Used one for parity and another for storage. Working as expected...they store stuff!

I purchased 2 of these for a RAID 1 array in a Buffalo NAS I use in my home for data storage. I had used another brand's NAS drives before, and they had been good and lasted years, but they had simply been outgrown. These Ironwolf drives not only replaced the old ones, doubling the NAS capacity on this RAID array, but they formatted faster and the frequency of the automatic maintenance of the Buffalo device has reduced. They are only a few months old, but so far - Very Good!

Item as expected. No issues getting them installed.

Works great, real workhorse. Used in NAS, no issues.

All of the NAS drive ready features you could ask for and a few more. You rarely hear anyone fault the IronWolf drives and I used my NAS upgrade as the excuse to also jump my storage capacity.
