LaCie Hdd Externo Rugged Usb-c 4tb
Pontos positivos e negativos
pelos nossos especialistas
Esta unidade externa de 4 TB é pensada para quem precisa de muito armazenamento local para backups, documentos e ficheiros multimédia. A ligação USB 3.0 e o design alimentado por USB facilitam o uso diário. A caixa resistente ajuda no transporte. Ao mesmo tempo, a velocidade de transferência continua limitada para uma unidade mecânica de 2,5 polegadas, por isso é menos indicada para tarefas de escrita intensas e longas ou projetos de vídeo grandes.

This is the second LaCie external drive that I have purchased. The first is still working fine, but only USB 2. The new rugged mini is much faster and more portable. Would never buy another brand!

Good Points: Large capacity in a rugged design, but you must remember this is a HD not an SSD and so will still be sensitive to shock despite the design. The capacity size is great for the price. Improvement Points: As an HD not an SSD this has a slower speed of read and write, so it is important to think of the use to which you will put this device. I am using it as a photo bank and so speed is not so important. The purchase was forced by price, because if I could have afforded the same as SSD I would have bought an SSD.

Good Points: Brilliant design and capacity. Latest connections with great speeds. Improvement Points: The price. That's it. Could be about 10 pounds cheaper.

This is my second LaCie and, a bit disappointed. Sadly, unlike the first here the cable detaches from the drive and with that, has the potential to also have a bad connection. Also is the connection point for the usb cable a bit flimsy and could be design tho be secure. The speed of the drive is nothing to write home about and is rather average. With that said, there are a few drives that have the same or better drop and “ abuse “ ratings, for far less money.

Only gave a 1 because I couldn't give a zero. Bought 2 drives for a shoot, both Failed within 2 weeks of purchase. To make matters worse, a warranty claim would equals new drives but I need the footage stored on those drives and data recovery would mean a warranty void
