Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation 450

This review is for the Synchro Skin Radiant Lifting Foundation. I received a sample of this in shade 130 opal and 160 shell. 160 shell pulled way too dark on my ~NC15 skin. 130 went on a little orange but gradually merged with my skin tone over the day. For reference, my best shade matches are Clinique even better glow in ivory, pat mcgrath in L3, teint idole in 005. The texture of this foundation is slightly thick and creamy, but not powdery like Nars Sheer Glow. Almost full coverage and can appear cakey in certain lighting. It is not transfer resistant and smeared slightly onto my mask. It was not too drying on my dehydrated skin but can feel a little heavy over the course of the day when my natural oils came through. Did not cause any breakouts or irritation on my sensitive skin.

This is the BEST MOST FLATTERING foundation I have EVER used (MORE THAN ANY GUERLAIN, DIOR ETC) but I use it like concealer, which is equally beautiful, very effective (no need to layer tons), and helps it last longer, because they stopped making it! It's way better than the thin thingy (low quality compared to this) they said "replaces" this. It smooths, it looks amazing, it doesn't irritate my skin as long as I wash it off at night. It's perfect. Shiseido, bring this back! Everything they have now is low quality (besides the eyeshadow pencils) compared to what they had

Updating to a full 5 stars because it is my precious, absolute favorite foundation. It’s the one to choose when I need to feel confident. Bamboo (330) is a perfect olive medium shade and the finish is gorgeous IF applied right. I saw a video on the Shiseido website - put a few drops on your fingers, spread thin and pat gently onto your face. That’s all. No brush, no sponge. Use only a half pump. It’s amazing. For ref I’m C3 in MAC F&B.

This is one of my favorite foundations! I have a few in rotation, but this is my number one! The coverage is excellent and covers redness well. I feel my skin does look very radiant and I love the finish. I am still giving it 5 stars, but I do find it wears off very fast. I apply my dermablend banana powder and I find it lasts a bit longer. It is incredibly hydrating as well and contains SPF!

I actually love this product. The texture and the coverage is excellent.
